The Caledonia School of English, a Premium Cambridge English Centre and international, award-winning School was set up in 1993. We are situated on the beautiful Costa de la Luz and widely regarded as a centre of academic excellence in this area. We are members of ACEIA.

We'd like to recruit a motivated EFL teacher to complement our existing teaching team.

Applicants should be university graduates with an appropriate TEFL or teaching qualification and be committed to working in a close-knit team. We are a long-standing, University of Cambridge Preparation and Examinations Centre, therefore, any previous experience of official examinations and performance assessment would be an advantage. Further training will be offered, however.

Our school-age students are aged 6-18 (more than 90% of our annual intake) and all our classes are face-to-face in groups that never exceed 12 students. Our school meets all regulatory requirements in terms of safety and hygiene. All our classrooms are light, particularly spacious, and are fitted with high-quality IWBs and excellent sound equipment. We take great care to use the best resources available both in printed and digital form to enable our students to reach their goals. Our library is also well stocked with a huge variety of back-up materials.

For this job, it is vital to be empathetic, self-motivated and to have adequate organisational and class-management skills. Additionally, our teachers should be well appointed and prepared to meet the reasonable expectations of our clients.

We offer a comfortable 24-hour per week teaching timetable for full-time teachers with an earlier finish on Fridays. Please check your eligibility to work in Spain before you apply.

We believe we offer extremely good working conditions and we cover travel costs from other areas of Spain and flight costs from other European countries. We also provide complimentary hotel accommodation on arrival and for the first three days. With our support, teachers will have found good, well-priced accommodation for the academic year within the first few days.

Living costs are considerably lower than most other areas of Spain, which means that your salary goes much further.
