Nevy's Language is a platform for live, online group English classes for adult immigrants in Canada and the USA. Most of our students are 25-45 year old adults beginners at levels 0 and 1. Most of our classes take place between 6pm-10pm, New York City time.

What you'll need to teach on the Nevy's platform: Videoconferencing that allows for more unlimited group meetings (paid Zoom or Google Meet account), teaching materials (we have a curriculum outline for you to follow).

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications and requirements: Great attitude and enthusiasm for your students. Excellent teaching styles. Certification such as TEFL/TESL Canada/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent teaching experience. Comfort and speed with technology. High quality headset, microphone and camera. 30+ Mbps internet speed.

Salary and Benefits

Teachers are paid between USD $5-7/hr. Payouts are monthly and done using Wise. Invoices are submitted on the 1st of every month.

Job Summary

You will teach a group of 6-8 adult students at the Starter and Beginner levels once a day (1 hour class) for five days a week. Our students look to learn general English topics for which we have a curriculum outline that you have to follow. Attendance is submitted each day, and payouts are made on a monthly basis.
