Job Title: EFL Senior English Teacher and Cambridge Assessment Centre Exams Manager support
Job Location: Ferrara, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in the north-east of Italy.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior EFL English Teacher to join our team in Ferrara, immersed in a Medieval and Renaissance urban system. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Foreign Language to students of all levels, including adults and children. The EFL English Teacher will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
Courses will vary between teaching General English, Business English, Academic English and Cambridge Exam Preparation courses to both private and institutional clients.

Responsibilities:
Teach English as a Foreign Language to students of all levels, including adults and teenagers.
Develop and implement lesson plans that are tailored to meet the needs of individual students and the class as a whole.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and interactive activities, to engage students and promote learning.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development activities as required.
(preferred) Support the Centre Exams Manager (CEM) in all matters relating to organisation of exams.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education, English, or related field.
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification.
At least 2 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
Good knowledge of Italian (at least A2, preferably B1 or above).
(preferred) Experience in supporting a Centre Exams Manager (CEM), who is the key contact for Cambridge English for all matters relating to the exams.
