Job Summary

THE POSITION
The junior centre in Chichester, UK delivers a range of courses to 11 to 17 year-olds. All students live on campus.
You will be working with a teaching partner and be responsible for delivering quality communicative lessons in a way that challenges and engages the students. Classes run in the mornings and / or afternoons. Teachers generally teach for 30 hours (3 hours each morning and each afternoon, Monday to Friday).
DURATION
Our Junior Summer Programme in Chichester runs from Sunday 3rd July to Sunday 31st July inclusive.
PAY
Package for the entire programme from £2200 (30 hours teaching, 2 evenings activities per week, 1 full-day excursion per week + some supervision). This is a residential position. Full board included.
QUALIFICATION
- A minimum of an ordinary Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Level 6 qualification).
- A British Council recognised 120-hour teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) certification (with a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice included) for example, a CELTA, Trinity certTESOL or CELT (ACELS).
- State qualified primary and secondary school teachers need to have at least completed a shorter one week Preparatory ELT Qualification in order to be eligible to teach in the junior centre.
