Job Summary
Candidates must have either a Cambridge English teaching qualification (CELTA/DELTA) or a Trinity London London teaching qualification (CERT/DIPLOMA).
Details of Position
1. Plan, prepare, teach and where appropriate design courses and lessons.
2. Assess, and provide feedback on achievement, progress and development needs.
3. Set, evaluate and mark students course work, homework and other assignments
4. Carry out and mark placement tests and regular diagnostic, progress and summative testing.
5. Induct students and provide academic/educational guidance and tutorial support to students.
6. Supervise students' attendance and behaviour as appropriate
7. Attend meetings as required and attend/deliver INSETT sessions as directed.

Qualifications
Cambridge English Language Teaching Qualification (CELTA/DELTA) or a Trinity College London Teaching Qualification (CERT/DIPLOMA)
At least 2 years' experience teaching adult general English at a range of levels.
Strong communication skills

Good time management skills
Ability to use own initiative and plan lessons independently
Reliable, responsible, punctual, professional
Attentive to detail
Proficient English
Confident with using IT, including MS Office
Desirable:
First Degree
Relevant Master's Degree
DELTA or equivalent
Experience in teaching IELTS exam preparation
Experience in teaching Business English
Experience teaching 121s
Experience in teaching Cambridge Exams
Experience in using interactive whiteboards
Experience in using an online learning management system
