Job Summary

The role involves planning and delivering a suitable TEFL programme in conjunction with Senior Teachers and the Academic Manager to the students to help them become confident English speakers. The successful candidate will hold a CELTA (or equivalent) qualification and will be required to complete reports on the students and conduct project classes once a week.

Details of Position

We are seeking suitably qualified English Language Teachers to work at our International Summer School in 2022 within both our senior campus, teaching ages 12-17, and our junior campus, teaching ages 8-11. The role involves planning and delivering a suitable English Language programme in conjunction with Senior Teachers and the Academic Manager to the students to help them become confident English speakers. The successful candidate will hold a CELTA (or equivalent) qualification and will be required to complete reports on the students and conduct project classes once a week.

The role will require the appointee to be residential for the duration of Summer School (full boarding and meals free of charge), which will involve some boarding duties, as well as involvement in excursions and social activities as required. This is a fixed-term role; the Senior Summer School runs between 3rd July and 14th August 2022 and the Junior Summer School runs between 3rd July and 31st July 2022 with inductions being held virtually from 30th June to 2nd July for both roles. There is the possibility of 4 or 6 week positions available (4 week contracts are from 3rd July to 31st July).

Qualifications

TEFL Qualification (CELTA preferable)
Experience teaching young learners

Salary and Benefits

£400 per week including free accommodation and meals; £50 per day for induction
