Job Summary

The Instructor is responsible for delivering training in English as a Foreign Language, or in Information Technology, to male Saudi Arabian undergraduates in their first year of a three-year tertiary program in Aviation Engineering, approximately 22 students per class, 30 contact hours per week.

DUTIES
Plan and deliver pedagogically sound lessons relevant to the Faculty's KPIs
Participate in the preparation, correction and assessment of examination papers and assignments, and invigilation

Details of Position

The International Aviation Technical College (IATC), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia invites applications for Instructor positions in (1) English as a Foreign Language and (2) in Information Technology within our Foundation Faculty, to commence in August 2022.

Degree Required
Teaching experience:: 3 years
Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Required
Must be a native level speaker of English with the ability to demonstrate an IELTS 8.0 Academic, no less than 8.0 on any one of the four skills.
Bachelor's degree in any academic field from an accredited university in USA, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand. Other nationalities may be considered, but an IELTS certification at 8.0 minimum (all four skills) would need to be submitted along with other credentials.
For both IT and EFL Instructor positions: EFL/ESL Teaching Certification (TESOL / CELTA / DELTA / TEFL; certificates from online courses are not accepted). Candidates with a PGCE or equivalent professional teaching qualification will also be considered.
For IT instructor positions, an undergraduate degree in IT or computer science along with a teaching qualification, as above.

Desirable
Instructional Design qualifications in addition to the above requirements
Postgraduate Degree (MA) in Applied Linguistics, IT, Education or other related fields
Fluency in Arabic.

The position is full time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
