This will involve developing the course curriculum in a way that reflects the ethos, mission and traditions of the College whilst ensuring parents and pupils receive an excellent standard of teaching and care.
Details of Position
The Course Director will take the lead on managing relations with Parents, the Stonyhurst Senior Management Team and also prospective staff who will be recruited to work exclusively on the SLS for the duration of the programme. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are therefore a must for this role.
The Course Director will be responsible for completing all the necessary pre-work for the SLS. It is anticipated that this will be on a part time basis however they will be expected to reside at Stonyhurst on a full time basis for the duration of the course which will run from 8th July 2022 to 5th August 2022.
The successful candidate will be the central point of contact for the SLS and will be responsible for managing multiple stakeholders. Therefore, they will need to be adept communicators with excellent time management and organisation skills.
They will possess an excellent level of ICT competence including experience of using Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook. It is desirable but not essential that the candidate is TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualified however it is essential that they have experience of working at or running a summer programme.

Salary and Benefits
This is a permanent role. The successful candidate will work part-time hours whilst completing the precourse work and full time at Stonyhurst for the duration of the SLS.
