Details of Position
We want to recruit a talented and committed EFL teacher to complete our teaching team for this coming 2020-2021 academic year. Applicants must be university graduates with good TEFL and/or PGCE qualifications and a willingness to work supportively in a close-knit team.
We are a long-standing official University of Cambridge Preparation and Examinations Centre, therefore, we expect teachers to have previous experience preparing students for official examinations and of on-going assessment. All prospective candidates should be adequately trained to teach both face-to-face and using video-conference platforms. They must show self-motivation, have good organisational skills and class-management skills as well as being well appointed.
Our school is perfectly adapted to meet all the latest regulatory requirements in terms of safety, hygiene and social distancing between students.
We offer a comfortable 24-hour per week teaching timetable for full-time teachers with an early finish on Fridays. This post will appeal to teachers with good quality TEFL experience looking to establish themselves in Spain before legal changes are implemented on 1st January as a result of Brexit, those who desire a change of geographic location and those teachers who wish to acquire more expertise preparing students for official examinations. However, the position is not suitable for candidates whose only previous experience has been as Language Assistants.
Training is provided and the school encourages and supports future professional development. Travel costs are reimbursed by the school and complimentary hotel accommodation provided on arrival.
Our location is very attractive and enjoys the highest sunlight hours in Europe. Living costs are low compared to other areas of Spain and good, economical accommodation is in abundance.
We very much look forward to receiving your application if you meet our requirements.

Income tax is usually set at 2% for new teachers and NHS & SS contributions at 6.4%. The School fully covers all other costs. The Spanish tax year runs from 1st January to 31st December.
