Details of Position
Excellent working conditions.
Groups of 10/12 students maximum and 4 minimum, strictly classified according to age and level.
Courses taught: General English;
Classroom materials and resource library for teachers;
Teacher support in lesson planning and classroom management;
Objectives clearly set at the beginning of each term.
Interactive boards and Wifi in all the classrooms;
Large air-conditioned classrooms with natural light;
Typical tasks that should be carried out include:
Preparing creative lesson plans;
Presenting lesson planning in the weekly teachers meeting;
Deliver high quality general English lessons using varied communicative language teaching methods;
Apply classroom management skills;
Preparing and setting examination papers;
Marking and providing appropriate feedback on written exams;
Preparing students for Cambridge English Examinations;
Working in strong collaboration with the directors, the teacher leader and colleagues;
Creating good rapport with students, peers and superiors;
Teacher leader position: In addition to the teaching position tasks, the teacher leader should occupy the following leadership roles.
A classroom supporter who works in classrooms next to teachers helping by demonstrating, or observing and offering feedback. Supervising colleagues work, making sure they are delivering lessons according to the school method and standard using the appropriate tools;
A resource provider who assists colleagues by sharing instructional resources with their colleagues;
An instructional specialist who helps colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies;
A curriculum specialist who shares information about content;
A mentor who models and acclimates new teachers to the school culture, while offering guidance about instruction, curriculum, procedure, practices, and politics.
Close collaborator of the school administrator and director;
As well as having the relevant qualifications and previous experience in similar positions candidates will need to show evidence of the following:
a friendly and confident manner;
Good planning and organisational skills;
Flexibility and an adaptable teaching style.
Accepting to be observed and given feedback on how to reach the students in their classroom. Being open to suggestions and to trying new things to suit students needs;
Creative skills and ideas for planning practical and interesting lessons;
Tolerance and patience;
Understanding of the challenges the students may have to learning and what approaches might work best with them individually;
Applicants should be willing to work closely with their colleagues and the school administrators. Their work will be supervised by the teacher leader and the directors of the school who act as classroom supporters, resource providers, instructional specialists and mentors.
a native speaker level of competence with high proficiency in the use of the English language.
European citizen or with a work permit.
a certificate TEFL qualification (CELTA or Cert. TESOL).
education to degree level or equivalent qualification
at least two years' relevant TEFL experience.
be dynamic and trustworthy applicants willing to commit to a 9 month contract.
ICT proficient (IWB and digital tools used in and outside the classroom)
experience with online lessons
Teacher leader position requirements;
the teacher leader should have been working in a similar position for at least two years.
have experience in Cambridge English or other official exams preparation.

are open to the views and ideas of all, non-judgmentally
respond positively and actively to colleagues seeking feedback, new ideas, and methods
Candidates should be available from September 24th for the induction period in which they will become familiar with the school culture. New teachers will be offered guidance about instruction, teaching strategies, curriculum, procedure and practices so as to deliver lessons according to the school method and standard.

Salary and Benefits
Up to 20 teaching hours per week;
Work contract and medical cover;
