Job Summary

1. Planning and delivery English and English Literature as a First Language lessons in the Cambridge International curriculum.
2. Using a communicative approach in the class.
3. Using multimedia equipment to teach English effectively at all levels.
4. Assessing students' progress and guiding their learning process.
5. Conducting extracurricular activities (CCAs) with students to encourage students' English proficiency.

Details of Position

English First Language teacher required for Primary School to teach Cambridge syllabi (Checkpoint English First Language & IGCSE English First Language).
The curricula are skills based and intended for near-native English speaking students. The focus is on close reading, inference, literary analysis, persuasive writing and composition.


1. The successful candidate must be a native or near-native English speaker (IELTS Band 8 or equivalent).
2. Prior experience of teaching IGCSE English First Language is desirable.
3. A degree in English Language/Literacy and a postgraduate teaching qualification such as PGCE are strongly preferred.

Salary and Benefits

1. Monthly salary: Competitive salary commensurate with Qualifications and Experience + Employee Providence Fund 6.5% of the gross salary.
2. Other Benefits:
