Ensure course delivery excellence with the goal of all students achieving a CEFR score of B1 on the Cambridge PET exam after (up to) 1 year of intensive English language training.
Assist civilian and Royal Saudi Military cadets in developing required skills to successfully advance through subsequent two years of study in the Vocational Department.
Plan and deliver clear, pedagogically, and professionally sound English language and exam skills lessons.
Details of Position
Our students graduate after 3 years with a Diploma in aircraft maintenance. A vital component in this process is the quality of our trainees English. English is paramount in the Aviation Industry and our College provides a one-year Foundation Course where we train our students to achieve at least a B1 outcome in the Cambridge PET exam before handing them over to our colleagues in the Technical Faculty.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well qualified person to join our highly successful team in the key role of Head of Assessment. This role is critical in organising, running, analysing and reporting on both our formative and summative tests and exams. Data and reports from the HOA will be pivotal, enabling strategies to be implemented to improve student outcomes.

A Bachelor degree in any subject.
Previous English teaching experience (minimum of 5 years) to adults in post-secondary level, technical or vocational sector.
EFL Teaching Certification TESOL/CELTA/TEFL with a minimum of 120 hours of face to face study and 6 hours of observed teaching practice.
Online certificates are not considered.
A Bachelor degree from a recognized university in English Language or Literature, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or education with an English teaching major.
Experience in teaching General English, EAP and IELTS courses.
Experience working outside of home country.
Prior experience in working, interacting and caring for students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, particularly Saudi students.
