The person we are looking to recruit will also have experience of successfully guiding a company/school through the British Council Accreditation process.
The role will involve assisting the Academic Manager (AM) in designing, planning, and ensuring the smooth running of the academic programme in the Go Languages summer and spring centres, and compliance of all programs with regulatory bodies. You will play an integral part in ensuring the academic quality and excellence of provision, including the integration between classroom materials and excursion or activities. You will also be central to providing inspirational leadership and support to teachers. Knowledge and experience of the British Council Accreditation scheme will also be essential. Go Languages is a subsidiary of Move Language Ahead (MLA).
Responsibilities; You will support the Academic Manager in the following:
Recruit, screen, and selection of all EFL teachers, Assistant Director of Studies (AdoS) and Director of Studies (DoS) in line with BC regulations .
Review & update the academic syllabus
Review and develop resources /teaching materials
Make recommendations for EFL material that can be used in conjunction with the Go Languages own course book series Task time.
Assist in teacher development programmes across all centres; including induction, training, observations & CPD.
Assist the AM in overseeing and managing the quality of the academic programme during the summer
Move materials and teaching practices into a digital age.
You will need to display the following personal attributes:

You will work remotely from home, but be expected to travel to visit centres during the spring and summer months. Some overnight stays will be required. Summer time is particularly busy and you may be required to attend a centre at little notice & during some weekends.
You will be expected to travel abroad for meetings in Head Office travel expenses reimbursed.
You will participate in bi-weekly conference calls and meetings in London to monitor progress and for training.
Previous experience in EFL management at least two years
Recruitment experience, specifically recruitment of temporary EFL teachers
Experience of multiple location management
Experience of working in a summer school environment
