Details of Position
We are recruiting three dedicated and professional EFL native teachers for the upcoming course, from 1st October, 2019 until June 2020, being available from September 20th for the induction period in which they will become familiar with the school culture. Applicants should be EFL qualified, experienced teachers and passionate about teaching. They should also possess excellent spoken and written communication skills.
We offer top working conditions and a nine month renewable contract of up to 20 hours weekly, with a timetable from Monday to Friday evenings and Thursday mornings. Group ages and levels will be assigned according to the applicants profile.
Groups of 10/12 students maximum and 4 minimum, strictly classified according to age and level.
Courses taught: General English, most of them aiming at Cambridge Examinations.
Classroom materials and resource library for teachers;
Teacher support in lesson planning and classroom management;
Objectives clearly set at the beginning of each term.
Interactive boards and Wifi in all the classrooms;
Large air-conditioned classrooms with natural light;
Typical tasks that should be carried out include:
Preparing creative lesson plans;
presenting lesson planning in the weekly teachers meeting;
deliver high quality general English lessons using varied communicative language teaching methods;
apply classroom management skills;
preparing and setting examination papers;
marking and providing appropriate feedback on written exams;
preparing students for Cambridge English Examinations;
working in strong collaboration with;
creating good rapport with students, peers and superiors;
Applicants should be willing to work closely with the directors, the teacher leader and colleagues. Their work will be supervised by the teacher leader and the directors of the school who act as classroom supporters, resource providers, instructional specialists and mentors. New teachers will be offered guidance about instruction, teaching strategies, curriculum, procedure and practices so as to deliver lessons according to the school method and standard.
As well as having the relevant qualifications and previous experience in similar positions candidates will need to show evidence of the following:

flexibility and an adaptable teaching style.
accepting to be observed and given feedback on how to reach the students in their classroom. Being open to suggestions and to trying new things to suit students needs;
creative skills and ideas for planning practical and interesting lessons;

understanding of the challenges the students may have to learning and what approaches might work best with them individually.

native or bilingual speakers with high proficiency in the use of the English language.
European citizen or with a work permit.
a certificate TEFL qualification (preferably CELTA with A or B grade).
education to degree level or equivalent qualification
at least three years' relevant TEFL experience.
experience in Cambridge English or other official exams preparation.
good command of Spanish (B1), for applicants willing to work with very young learners.
dynamic and trustworthy applicants willing to commit to a 9 month contract.
