PGL, founded in 1957, operates at 23 outdoor activity centres across the UK and France. We are the UKs leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for young people.
PGL have a fantastic opportunities for EFL Director of Studies based at Osmington Bay in Weymouth, Dorset, and at Winmarleigh Hall, Lancashire. We have contracts starting October and for the right candidates we will also have further work in 2019.
PGL delivers a fantastic EFL programme to our inbound guests travelling to PGLs UK centres from Europe, Asia and various long haul destinations. Guests enjoy a mix of classroom based EFL sessions and off-site excursions.
As a PGL Director of Studies you will oversee the implementation and smooth running of the academic programme. To ensure our guests have the best experience, you will manage the teaching team to deliver high quality language classes, teaching wherever necessary, and be the liaison for all Group Leaders' inquiries about the course content.

Qualifications

Enthusiastic fluent English speakers holding a Cambridge DELTA/ Trinity Diploma TESOL/ TEFL Q or equivalent.
Previous experience of delivering in a classroom style setting.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with PGL. Salary and Benefits

This role is a residential position, with accommodation onsite at our activity centre. We offer a competitive wage of £610 a week, with an accommodation offset of £43. You'll receive 3 meals a day free of charge, access to training and development opportunities and a free staff uniform.
All roles are fixed term contracts with flexible dates.
