About ICS
Established in 1979, ICS is a all year round Independent IB School for students from 3 to 17 years old. Summer School is recognised as a Centre of Excellence, based on a 2016 British Council inspection which placed ICS among the top English language schools in the UK for young people.

As lessons are project based, we encourage learners to research new information by using books, computers and iPads. English is learnt through a variety of disciplines such as geography, maths, science, art, drama and music as well as English classes. Classes are connected to a weekly project or theme, which is linked to the weekly excursion.

ICS has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and our safer recruitment requirements.

During interview all candidates will be asked to talk through their applications, including periods when they were not working. ICS is committed to equal opportunities.
