The primary role of the teacher is to teach junior learners in a safe and supportive environment, recognising that the course is a serious commitment for them and their families and that the main aim of the course is to improve the children's abilities in English. The teacher should also recognise that the children are on holiday, so classes should have an element of fun and enjoyment and children should leave with a positive attitude to both the language and learning English to assist them as they continue studying with enthusiasm when they return home. In addition to teaching, the teacher will assist with supervision of juniors and ensure that our Duty of Care is adhered to at all times.
