Job Summary

OISE Young Learners' Schools are recruiting teachers for its 2018 summer courses available for 2 - 3 weeks.
Teaching for OISE involves small, intensive classes with a maximum of eight students. The syllabus has been created to provide ample material for both newly-qualified and experienced teachers, with excellent lesson plans.

Details of Position

OISE is recruiting teachers for its Summer Residential centres in Bristol and York as well as its non-residential centres in Swindon and Folkestone. The age range is 12-17.
Contracts are available for a duration of 2-3 weeks.

Teaching for OISE involves small, intensive classes with a maximum of eight students. The syllabus has been created to provide ample material for both newly-qualified and experienced teachers, with excellent lesson plans for our ambitious and motivated learners.

Residential contracts offer 23 hours of teaching in Bristol and York with 21 hours in Taunton along with additional leisure duties in the late afternoon, evening and weekend on a rota basis.
Non-residential contracts in Dawlish and Folkestone offer 27 hours of teaching, 4h of which are a subject chosen by the teacher. Contracts in Swindon offer 23h of teaching with additional leisure duties in the late afternoon.

Qualifications

Applicants should be graduates with a British Council recognised teaching qualification, at least TEFLI (CELTA or equivalent).

Newly-qualified teachers will be considered.

Full training will be given on all aspects of course content with opportunity for professional development.

Successful applicants are expected to apply for DBS Disclosure at OISE's expense, if not already in possession of one recently completed.

Salary and Benefits

Residential Rates: £375 per week plus full board.
Non-residential rate: £325 per week for 23h and £360 for 27h.
All positions are subject to statutory holiday calculated on a pro-rata basis.
For 2 week contracts we offer a extra payment of £25 per week.
