Job Summary

Academic year 2018-19. At the CALAC group of language schools you can become the teacher you really want to be, with the salary to match. Start as a newly-qualified CELTA-TESOL teacher and become a Young Learner specialist in under a year. Already have experience? Then maybe a subsidised modular DELTA or a specialist online course is for you. Looking for a new challenge? In that case please apply for one of our management posts.

Details of Position

The six CALAC schools (Central Andalusian Language Academies) are defined by their proven long experience in helping teachers enrich their CVs and progress to the next stage in their career. This becomes especially attractive when taking into account the singular locations of our schools. All the centres are situated in small or medium-sized, inland Andalusian towns, where modern and historical Spain live side by side.
We recruit keen, ambitious and committed teachers who are interested in rapid professional development. Training is offered in a broad range of ages and levels, from nursery to adults, from initiation to C2 Proficiency. A contract with a CALAC school offers an excellent opportunity to become a specialist in any age group or area. Regular in-house training, subsidized external training, extensive teaching resources, and online learning platforms are all part of the job. Spacious air-conditioned classrooms are equipped with internet connection and interactive whiteboards. Class groups are from 4 to 12 students.
All CALAC schools have been in business between 10 and 30 years, so we can guarantee a friendly, established work environment which is both dynamic and professional. We teach around 3.500 students and are official examination preparation centres for both Cambridge and Trinity. As active members of FECEI and ACEIA, the national and regional federations of language schools, we are at the forefront of the latest EFL developments in Spain.
