Details of Position

ANGLO is a British Council accredited organisation that runs English Language courses in various locations. We are currently recruiting Teaching Managers, Teachers and Teaching Programme Coordinators for our 2018 Summer Season.

We are looking for non residential teachers to join our summer teams in the UK for Summer 2018

Centres 2018:
Bognor Regis (University of Chichester)
Brentford (University of West London)
Bristol (Bristol University's Stoke Bishop Campus)
Canterbury (Christ Church University)
Edinburgh (Queen Margaret University)
Exeter ( Exeter University)
Keele (Keele University)
Nottingham (University of Nottingham)
Southampton (Southampton Solent University)
Uxbridge (Brunel University)

Qualifications

Teaching Managers:
A first degree or equivalent, i.e. level H FHEQ (Level 6 Qualifications and Credit Framework)
Diploma in TESOL (or Accreditation UK recognised equivalent)
At least 3 years of experience
Eligible to live and work in the UK


Teachers and Coordinators:
A first degree or equivalent, i.e. level H FHEQ (Level 6 Qualifications and Credit Framework)
Certificate in ELT / TESOL (or Accreditation UK recognised equivalent)
Eligible to live and work in the UK


To be considered for the positions a certificate in ELT/TESOL must:

1). be externally validated by a reputable examination body
(usually a university or recognised examination board)
and/or accredited by a national accrediting body such
as Ofqual in England

2). contain at least six hours supervised teaching practice
(i.e. teaching practice where a qualified and standardised
assessor observes the trainee teacher teaching real
students and gives feedback on his or her performance)

3). contain at least 100 hours of ELT/TESOL input.

Examples of ELT/TESOL certificate-level qualifications are
certificates in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
accredited by Ofqual or similar national regulators, at Level 4 or
Level 5 of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (the Scottish
Qualifications Authority uses a different framework).

Salary and Benefits

Residential Teaching Managers
Salary: up to £600 per week, depending on the size of centre (salaries are paid every 4 weeks)
Non - Residential Coordinators
Salary: up to £550 per week (salaries are paid every 4 weeks)

Non - Residential EFL Teachers
17.5 or 35 contact hours per week (Monday to Friday) depending on centre
Salary: up to £550 per week (salaries are paid every 4 weeks)
