Job Summary

We are looking for highly motivated, professional and innovative Cambridge or Trinity certificate qualified teachers to teach at our established summer centre for juniors (age 11-16). The position is residential and our centre is based in Lord Wandsworth College on the Surrey/Hampshire border.

Details of Position

We are looking to fill the position of Residential EFL Teachers at our established Junior Summer Centre based in Lord Wandsworth College on the Surrey/Hampshire border. We have up to 120 students (aged 11 to 16) per week with a good mixture of nationalities. The college itself is one of the largest boarding school campuses in Europe with outstanding sports facilities, which staff can use during their time off.
Our course will run from 8 July to 11 August 2018. Applicants must have experience in teaching all levels from pre-intermediate to advanced, a strong desire to work with children and an interest in contributing to all aspects of the summer centre, including social activities and excursions.
Start date July 2018
DBS enhanced disclosure check will be required.

Educated to degree level
CELTA or Trinity Certificate qualified
EFL teaching experience, in particular students within the 11 to 16 age range
Experience of working in a multilingual classroom
Experience of continuous enrolment, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
Proficiency in time management and record keeping
A strong commitment to own CPD
Flexibility and cultural awareness
DELTA or Trinity Diploma
Safeguarding Training
First aid qualification
WSE is committed to safeguarding the well-being of its students and staff and to safer recruitment procedures. All gaps in your work history will need to be explained and all successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check or overseas criminal or police check before appointment. All candidates will be asked to supply the contact details of two referees who we will contact directly.

Salary and Benefits

£410 per week gross (including holiday pay)
All residential staff receive full board and lodging at the school for the duration of the course.

Funded safeguarding training and first aid plus any other relevant training opportunities as required.
