Details of Position

Native level TEFL teachers required for January and February start dates. Situated in Alicante in the South East of Spain (Costa Blanca).

We're opening one more school soon and are looking for professional, experienced, dynamic, well-organised and flexible teachers who love their work and who can really motivate their students, to join our team. Our modern air-conditioned premises are fully equipped with computers, internet access, interactive video and audio resources. We cater to all ages and levels, predominantly chilren. Teaching groups of about 6 students at a time, with an emphasis on learning in a fun environment but also with a focus on student progress. Classes take place mainly in the afternoon between 4pm-8pm with some additional evening and morning classes teaching adults. The majority of our students are children.
We will have one school for children between 4-8 years old and another school for children 8+, ranging all the way up to adults. When applying please specify which age range you are looking to teach.
The teachers will work closely with the manager and owner of the school.
Starting with a minimum of 20 hours a week, increasing depending on experience and student demand for classes.

Resoures, help and advice are provided, you are also expected to plan for lessons as a team with all the teachers and also independently for 1-1 classes.

Located in the picturesque Mediterranean city of San Juan Playa, Alicante in the South East of Spain (Costa Blanca, 36 km from Benidorm), with a rich regional culture and cuisine, great white sand beaches within easy reach of the UK with low cost flights.

-CELTA/TEFL recognised qualification
-2 years experience in TEFL
-Experience with preparation for Cambridge exams (PET/FCE/CAE) preferred but not required.
-EU Passport

Salary and Benefits

We offer 20 hours per week starting at 12 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience, from Monday to Friday with some primary school classes on Saturday mornings.
