|Alice in Città is looking for 3 English mothertongue part-time linguistic assistants in kindergartens (children aged 3-5) in Mantova, Italy, for 7 months. |
-Position: Linguistic Assistant - In kindergartens (children aged 3-5)
The aims of the Kindergartens Linguistic Assistants (KLA) project are various. The general target is to facilitate 3 to 5 years old children’s approach to the English language, through the communication and interaction with a English native speaker, in a familiar context.
-Place: Mantova, Italy
-Dates/period: 7 months, from October 20th 2014 to May 22nd 2015.
-Working hours amount: the assistant will work part-time in one or more schools, for a total amount of 24,5 hours/week.
-Accomodation: we provide with accomodation with host families.
-Training: all the linguistic assistants take part in a mandatory training right before the work starts (October 16th-17th in Milan, and October 18th in Mantova), so they must arrive in Milan on October 15th.
-Salary: the salary for 7 months of work is 3.990€ net of taxes (570€ per month). Payments are provided monthly. We also provide with accomodation and meals at school during the working days.

Your safety is paramount. If you feel uneasy with any part of the

Get travel insurance and check that the cover is appropriate.
Check what vaccinations you need at least 6 weeks before you go and consider whether you need to take extra health precautions
Ensure you have a valid passport that is in good condition and the necessary visas.
Make copies of your passport (including any visa pages), insurance policy plus 24-hour emergency number, and ticket details. Leave these copies, your itinerary and contact details with family and friends.
Take enough money for your trip and some back-up funds eg travellers cheques, sterling or US dollars.
