In addition to competent administrative and organisational skills, you should also possess the ability to communicate clearly with your team and be prepared to tackle issues with a hands-on approach.
The role also requires an element of creativity and innovative thinking. Together with English language classes, our summer school courses offer creative workshops focussing on: art and design, music, photography, digital audio and video production, animation and web design. Most of our English teachers have been recruited because they are passionate about, and have backgrounds in, one or more of these creative subjects. The successful applicant should be DELTA qualified or equivalent in order to provide new and experienced teaching staff with valuable feedback. As we are a small college offering a range of courses in addition to English, the ideal candidate would be willing to engage in other areas of academic management outside of English language teaching when necessary.
