Professional Native English TEFL teachers required to teach young learners to adults-Three vacancies
    Location Córdoba(Andalucía), Spain
    Deadline Tuesday 30. September 2014

Albany School of English is a modern private language school with six centres located in and around Cordoba in Andalusia (Southern Spain), and two in Madrid. Albany School was founded in 1985 and currently employs around 30 full time teachers. As a member of both The Association of Language Schools for Andalusia (ACEIA), and The National Federation of Private Language Schools (FECEI) in Spain, we are committed to maintaining high standards throughout the organization.

We offer general English courses from beginners to advanced level and also prepare students for external exams, such as the Cambridge and Trinity qualifications. Our students range from 3 years old to adult, although the vast majority of our students are children and teenagers. Students come to classes for two to three hours a week from mid-September to June. Intensive exam preparation courses are available to adults and teenagers, some of which are offered in July. Children’s summer courses for 3 to 15 year-olds take place during this month. In-company courses are available throughout the year.
Albany School regards its teachers as a valuable asset and therefore invests time and resources to ensure that each teacher feels fully supported during their time with us. A comprehensive development programme is offered which includes compulsory pre-course induction sessions and in-house training sessions throughout the academic year.
In addition, our Directors of Studies and School Coordinators organise weekly sessions for teachers. Occasionally workshops are provided by external guest speakers on a variety of relevant topics; they normally take place in one of the schools. Teachers are offered support and advice as part of their development programme which includes observed lessons. Information on external training events is given where costs can be covered by the school.

  • If you are concerned about divulging your home address in your resume, consider using a post office box or similar forwarding address.
