| Entry level | | Positions | 95 | | Details | RAY English TEFL Recruitment is one of the premier TEFL recruitment agencies in China. We are currently looking for over 500 TEFL qualified teachers PER YEAR to come out to fill our many vacancies across China with EF English First, the top private language company in the world!
EF English First teaches English to learners from 3 – 17 years old, and sometimes older students as well. All of their courses are well-structured with excellent teaching materials. It is highly satisfying to teach at EF, as the students are eager to engage and make mistakes, enthusiastic in the classroom, and you can see them make progress rapidly.
The kind of learning experience that EF likes to bring to its students is an experience that uses the communicative approach. That is, students don’t just sit there passively, but actively get up and use the language as much as possible. Learning through songs and drama, role-plays, pair work and mingling activities are all encouraged. Lessons are never scripted, and teachers are genuinely encouraged to use their teaching passion and creativity to bring their ESL lessons to life!
From time to time, EF English First will also teach adult courses or 1-to-1 private classes for adult students. These students are usually studying English to for reasons related to their work or business. There are also a lot of adults who wish to travel abroad, either for work or leisure, and wish to get ready by being able to speak English and interact with native-speakers.
Again, the main focus is on helping the students to produce language themselves, as supposed to passively listening to the teacher.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
When working with EF English First, one thing you can guarantee is the high level of support and development that you’re given.
The academic management within each school is in place to ensure that academic quality is consistently high, and they all have a deep enthusiasm for teacher training and development. From lesson observations to skills workshops, one-to-one mentoring to sponsored academic qualifications (such as DELTA training for interested teachers), you can be sure you’ll leave a far better ESL teacher than when you started.
COURSEBOOKS AND INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARDS
The course materials used at EF English First are exclusively written for teachers by its own dedicated team of in-house writers. These are of extremely high quality, as it has its own dedicated in house writing team.
Course materials include workbooks for both students and teachers, wall posters, ESL flashcards, as well as quality content for the interactive whiteboards in every classroom – flash videos, mp3s, and so on. Language courses are even being developed that will use iPad computers in the classroom.
SUPPORT
EF English First always gives you the guidance and support you need when moving to a foreign country. Additionally, RAY English TEFL Recruitment will help you at every step of the way when you are getting ready to come out. for a post, attending an interview or working abroad.
Do not provide any banking or credit card information when applying
for a job.

consider using a post office box or similar forwarding address.
When attending a job interview, if you feel in any way uncomfortable
with the situation or the person/s you are dealing with, walk away. Also
consider your work location, do you feel it is safe? Would you be happy
to work there late at night?
Always let a friend know that you are attending an interview, when and
where. acquaint yourself fully with how to get to the interview and how
to get back.
An interview should always be arranged in daylight hours.
If the job appears to be "too good to be true", it probably is. Fully

with previous/current staff.
As previously stated, no reputable employer will ask you for money
(even for a visa, work-permit etc.). If a tefl.com advertiser does ask
you for payment, refuse and contact us immediately.
