Details of Position
Students who attend our summer school courses receive a combination of English language tuition
Lessons take place in both the morning and afternoon, with teachers completing up to 30 hours of contact time with the students per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting and Safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible for and with whom you come into contact with.
- Play an active role in the development of student’s life skills throughout their Embassy experience
- To teach as required and to assist with placement tests
Teachers may also get the opportunity to work alongside our activities team, delivering excursions to a number of UK cities including; London, Bath, Oxford & Cambridge
QualificationsFirst Degree or equivalent (Level 6 Qualifications and Credit Framework)
Initial Teacher Training certificate + Level 5 Teaching qualification (CELTA, Trinity Cert. TESOL or equivalent)
Salary and BenefitsWeekly for EFL Teachers: £330.15 + £39.85 = £370 (Based on 42 hours)
The working week consists of 42 hours inclusive of 8 hours planning time
Full board accommodation is available at a £40 deduction per week
