Then apply for one of the English Teacher Training College’s four month TEFL teaching study programmes in beautiful Austria and earn globally recognized ESL teaching qualifications (Trinity College London CertTESOL, Cambridge English TKT examinations and Cambridge English CELT-P) while undertaking 250 hours of practical classroom experience!
Thanks to the support of sponsors, donors and our supporting members, the not-for-profit College is structured in such a way so as to subsidize the course costs of each student teacher studying for their TEFL-YL certification. The 250+ hours of practical teaching experience, the training and support of expert, qualified tutors and ultimately your Trinity CertTESOL or Cambridge CELT-P qualification, along with FREE accommodation, FREE food and FREE teaching-related travel while you travel and teach across Austria is all covered by the College!
SPRING DATES: APRIL 18th to JULY 28th 2017

Student Teachers will gain experience teaching in more than twenty different schools while living in different locations in Austria. Course material includes the fundamentals of language learning, teaching skills, language awareness and behaviour management. Experience using technology to teach via an online virtual learning environment is also provided.


Trinity CertTESOL course:
-An interest in teaching English and working with children
-A-Levels, High School Leaving Diploma, International Baccalaureate etc or higher
-At least 18 years of age
-Ability to serve as a cultural ambassador for one’s home country
-Experience in a non-traditional teaching environment such as summer camps, youth groups or outdoor education will be advantageous, however, all candidates are considered
Cambridge CELT-P course:
-As above, additionally:
-At least 21 years of age
-Must have a CELTA or CertTESOL or equivalent AND/OR at least two years' full-time TEFL teaching experience
-A desire to develop advanced techniques and skills for working specifically with young learners

-Accommodation and food for the duration of the course in student-style accommodation

-Extended training in communicative language teaching, project work, game-based learning and task-based learning techniques
-At least 250 hours of practical teaching experience in Austrian classrooms
-Over 29 hours of observed and assessed feedback, including microteaching video feedback, feedback from Course Tutors, feedback from peers and observing a more experienced teacher
-Career development and further job placement opportunities, indeed until this point, every participant in one of courses who has wanted further employment in the TEFL world after finishing their time with the English Teacher Training College has found it.
