Details of Position

The Caledonia School of English, one of 12 world-wide University of Cambridge Preparation Centre Awards finalists in 2015 and PREMIUM Cambridge Preparation Centre, celebrates its 25th anniversary this academic year. This attractive, modern school on the beautiful Costa de la Luz is considered a centre of academic excellence in its area.
We're looking for a talented and committed EFL teacher to complete our teaching staff for this 2017-18 academic year. All applicants must be university graduates with good TEFL and/or PGCE qualifications, of English mother tongue level and with a keen desire to work in a friendly, supportive and close-knit team. Teachers must be well-appointed.
As an official University of Cambridge Assessment, Preparation and Examination Centre since 1993, we expect teachers to have some experience preparing students for official examinations, although on-going support is provided in this area. Our YL exams are held on-site and we prepare all levels from YLs to C2.
Training is provided and we encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience throughout the teaching process in this friendly, cooperative environment. The School supports future professional development.
We offer a comfortable 24-hour per week teaching timetable for full-time teachers with early finish on Fridays. The area has the highest sunlight hours in Europe, living costs are low compared to other areas of Spain and good, economical accommodation in abundance.
These posts will appeal to EFL teachers looking for short or longer-term positions in Spain (minimum one academic year), but are not suitable for candidates whose only previous experience has been as Language Assistants.
We very much look forward to receiving your application if you meet our requirements.
