Job Summary

Early childhood/primary school positions for qualified and experiened teachers in private schools across the west of Japan (Hiroshima, Okayama, Kobe, Osaka).

Details of Position

Cambridge Centre is recruiting kindergarten and primary/elementary School teachers to work at international kindergartens/private elementary schools in Hiroshima, Okayama, Kobe, Osaka starting April 2015.
We are looking for experienced teachers with a minimum of two years classroom experience (particular experience in EYFS/KS1 an advantage)


Native Level English Speaker
Bachelors Degree in from an accredited university
Teaching Qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or M.Ed / QTS)
2 years MINIMUM teaching experience (preferably post qualification) teaching early childhood/primary education, preferably in a kindergarten/primary school
Experience with Cambridge YLE/Schools exam preparation and/or a Cambridge teaching award (CELTA/Delta) an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

Salary from 3,120,000 to 3,600,000 Japanese yen per annum
Accommodation provided (rent $300 to $500 per month and within walking distance of the school)
Health insurance provided
Public Holidays (17 days) plus 4~7 weeks of school holidays
12 months renewable contract
Ongoing professional development leading to qualifications such as the Cambridge Delta etc.
