Job Summary

Due to the rapid development of our school we are seeking a Native level English teacher to teach at our Primary and Language School. If you are cheerful and social person, like to work in international environment and want to share with us your experience and passion for teaching - this job is for you!

Details of Position

Oxford Centre is composed of Pre-School, Primary School and Language School. It is located in a modern building in the centre of the city. The classrooms are spacious, bright and colourful and equipped with the necessary teaching aids including multimedia. It was established in 2000 and since then sistematicly grows and develops.
The school is spread out over four floors, there is a teachers' room which contains everything needed. There are over 25 classrooms, equipped with projectors and laptops, a little laboratory for science classes among other faculties.
The mission statement of our institution is to provide children, teenagers and adults with the best possible conditions for learning and development. We focus primarily on an intimate atmosphere, great staff and an innovative curriculum.
At Oxford Primary School, emphasis is placed on learning mathematics, science and languages. English is spoken by most of the teachers. Our teachers from the UK, U.S. lead English classes in science, mathematics, design technology and even physical education. Their continued presence in the school ensures natural language acquisition - through everyday conversation, participation in common meals, games, workshops and tours. We also offer students other foreign languages: Spanish and German.
We would also like to awaken in children love for maths and natural sciences. Through workshops, we try to instill children with a love of subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology, which generally do not enjoy popularity with such pupils. Often to blame is incorrect teaching methods, lack of experience during the lesson and too much focus on theory rather than practice.
When we teach English to teens and adults we focus primarily on communication skills. Our groups are small, up to 8 ss per class. We use books from the major publishing companies as Oxford University Press and Cambridge. We are also an examination centre for Pearson and Cambridge exams.
Each year we offer courses to more than 500 ss. At our Pre-School and Primary School we have 300 pupils.
if you are positive, cheerful and easy going teacher this position is for you.
