TEFL TEACHER REQUIRED FOR OCTOBER 2017
- Spain, Baeza
- Amanda's School
- Experience: 1 YEAR
- Positions: 1
- Degree Required
Details of Position
We teach from infants to adults and we will adapt the timetables to the strengths and preferences of our team members. We are looking for one teacher to start in October and we have one part time post to fill.
The academia has just moved to a renovated house, a walk away from the centre of town. The house is bright and welcoming and has a huge patio which will be used for including games into lessons with our younger learners. We have extra facilities such as kitchens to teach English through cooking and we have plans to have masterchef cookery classes!
Class sizes are small- our maximum class size is 12 and we are well known in the town as a well established academia which provides stimulating, creative and communicative classes. Our logo is LOVE English and our philosophy is to motivate our students and instill a passion for learning English.
Baeza is a small town with 16,000 inhabitants. It became a World Heritage town with its neighbouring town of Úbeda in 2003. It is one of the most beautiful towns in Jaen, full of beautiful renaissance architecture. It has lots of charm and you can walk everywhere. We are surrounded by mountains and rows and rows of olive trees as far as the eye can see! Another big advantage of choosing Baeza is that the cost of living is cheap and we are in easy travelling distance from Granada, Jaen and Cordoba aswell as being on the doorstep of Cazorla- Spain's largest national park. It is also one of the few towns in Spain where you receive a free tapas with your drink- if you want to work and live in a real authentic Spanish town away from the well trodden tourist route- well, Baeza is definately the place for you!
