Details of Position
Teachers are requested to work 4 - 6 weeks and will earn £460.69 p/w including accommodation and all meals.
Teachers will conduct 19 classes a week (5 a day - Monday, Tuesday & Thursday and 4 on Friday)and will have ample time to plan and prepare for classes. Each Wednesday, Saturday and Friday afternoon there is a school excursion to a different city in the UK and teachers are requested to help with the supervision of students during this time. Teachers go on one Wednesday excursion every two weeks and are given every other weekend off (commencing early Friday evening following the excursion).
During the afternoons and evening the school runs a sports & social programme with students often having the choice to participate in about 8 different sports and activities. Teachers are required to assist in these activities and are often expected to assist in one activity each day: afternoon or evening (on a rota basis). These can range from library supervision to football and we will always try to take your preference into consideration and make sure you have time for planning.
We will endeavour to pick staff members up from the local train station at Leominster or Ludlow.
QualificationsApplicants must hold a recognised TEFL qualification (eg. CELTA, CERT TESOL, etc.) A DELTA and at least one year's full time experience is desirable. Unfortunately due to visa restrictions, the positions are open to EU passport holders only. EU teachers whose first language is not English are encouraged to apply, but must have an official IELTS certificate from IELTS graded at level 7 or C2 equivalent.
The demanding and intensive nature of the summer course required teachers to be hard working, flexible and enthusiastic.
We are looking for teachers who relate well to teenagers learners whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. A willingness to work as part of a team is highly desirable.

Salary and BenefitsThe school pays £460.69 p.w including accommodation, meals and holiday pay.
