Details of Position

Stafford House School of English is one of the world’s leading providers of English language programmes. It operates four full time adult English language schools in the UK (Canterbury, London and Brighton) and USA, as part of Cambridge Education Group (CEG). A dynamic and fast-growing company, we are seeking teachers for our summer/autumn period from the end of June.

Stafford House London provides intensive English language courses to foreign students enrolled at the school as well as providing English for Academic purposes for high school students enrolled at our sister school, CATS College London. EFL teachers at Stafford House School of English may be asked to teach on any one of our courses depending on experience and qualifications. Courses include general English, closed groups, exam preparation, business English, English for academic purposes and a wide variety of electives to suit student needs.
Stafford House provides regular training and development sessions and Diploma qualified teachers will be asked to run some sessions as well as providing support for their colleagues. Teachers are also invited to take part in our student social programme.
We have a high ratio of Diploma qualified teachers and permanent contracts are only offered to teachers with this minimum requirement.

Degree or equivalent required
Diploma qualification preferred
Experience of teaching using Interactive Whiteboards preferred
Experience of teaching Exam Preparation preferred
TEFLi qualified (CELTA/ Trinity Cert. TESOL) teachers may also apply – A or B grades preferred.
