Details of Position

OIEG Junior Programmes is part of the Oxford International Education Group. Oxford International was founded in 1991 and has been running summer schools for international students for 25 years.
We are looking for EFL Teachers on a residential and non-residential basis in various locations in London, South East England and Edinburgh.

At OIEG Junior Programmes we are seriously enthusiastic about our junior programmes. Every student who visits an OIEG Junior Programmes centre deserves to gain confidence, improve their communication skills, enjoy themselves and leave with lasting memories and friendships.
As an EFL teacher you are responsible for delivering engaging English lessons which benefit teenage learners inside and outside the classroom. OIEG Junior Programmes provide coursebooks and teachers’ books which are the foundation for lesson planning and teaching.

OIEG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Part of the post holder’s responsibilities for safeguarding the welfare of the young students for whom they are responsible will be to adhere to our Child Protection Policy. As part of our Safer Recruitment Policy you will be asked to explain any gaps in your work and education history, agree to a DBS Enhanced Disclosure and sign a Suitability to Work with Children Declaration where you will be asked to state any criminal convictions. Applicants based overseas will be asked to provide evidence of a 'clean' local police check. All applicants will need to provide at least 2 referees. When following up references, referees will be specifically asked if they have any concerns about the applicant working with young people.

Minimum requirement for all EFL applications:
- CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL (or Accreditation UK-recognised equivalent) or PGCE in English/MFL
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not sponsor work permit visa applications.
