Details of Position

Studio Cambridge is a well-established, independent school and therefore not part of a large chain. It is renowned for its friendly, family atmosphere with both students and staff. The school is recognised by the British Council and is a member of English UK. Studio Cambridge is open throughout the year, teaching English to overseas students.
We provide Summer Camps to over 1,500 students in 4 age groups: 9-13, 10-16, 14-17 and 16-19, and in 5 locations in the UK: Cambridge, Richmond, Reading, Ely and Bishop’s Stortford. We want them to feel happy and confident while living and studying in a new country. We hope to develop their language skills in a comfortable, safe and relaxed learning environment, and we hope that they will have lots of fun - in class, during activities and on excursions.
We are looking for responsible, flexible teachers, with energy, enthusiasm and an ability to work well with both children and adults. We have residential and non-residential positions available in July and August for 2 to 8 weeks. All positions include dates in July.

Qualifications

• CELTA , Trinity TESOL cert or equivalent or PGCE / B. Ed qualification is essential
• A degree is essential
• TEFL experience is preferred but not essential for positions involving teaching 15 hours per week
• TEFL experience is essential for positions involving teaching 21 per week
• An interest in sports, arts and crafts or cultural activities is essential
• Experience of working with the age group applied for is preferred

Salary and Benefits

Salary
Residential (includes full board plus an additional £62.42 holiday pay per week):
Positions including 15 hours of teaching: £365 per week
Positions including 21 hours of teaching: £425 per week
Non-residential (includes an additional £67.55 holiday pay per week):
Positions including 15 hours of teaching: £395 per week
Positions including 21 hours of teaching: £455 per week
