Details of Position
We are looking for a Course Director to oversee our summer camp for 10-16 year-olds at a boarding school in Reading, UK. The Course Director will oversee all aspects of the summer camp, liaise with the main school in Cambridge and with the facility provider in Reading. We are looking for someone with experience of working in summer camps or a similar environment, who has excellent communication skills, good leadership skills and will be committed to running a successful camp.
The dates of the position are for 7 weeks from 26 June to 13 August 2017. The first 2 weeks 26 June to 7 July will be based at our main school in Cambridge, receiving training and preparing for the camp. The remaining 5 weeks will be based at the summer camp, which takes place in a boarding school with excellent facilities and large grounds.
Qualifications• Native speaker level of English required
• Ability to work under pressure is essential
• Excellent organisational skills are essential
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• PC skills are essential
• Experience of managing or organising educational centres is preferable but not essential
Salary and Benefits£590 per week, plus £71.21 holiday pay per week, including full board, during the summer camp
2 weeks of paid training and preparation at the main school in Cambridge from 26 June to 7 July.
