STUCK WITH LOW PAY?
"I have been teaching the English language overseas for seven years now but find myself stuck in the lowest paid jobs with little or no prospects for promotion. I do not have a TESL/TEFL certificate but do have a degree and my experience. What should be my next step in order to progress? I really donīt feel like starting at certificate level if I have to gain a qualification to get out of this rut."
Usually you will need a news reader. There are many versions available (including web-based), most of which are free (see links below). Some browsers such as Firefox, Opera and Safari have a newsreader built in, therefore you can access your feeds via your bookmarks. Once you have chosen your news reader you can include feeds from thousands of sites (including TEFL.com) that display the "RSS", "RDF" or "XML" logo. You can usually subscribe to the feed by either dragging the url of the RSS feed into your news reader or by copying and pasting the url into your news reader.
