Your Resume - Automated deactivation/removal sequence

To ensure that all resumes archived within the TEFL.com Resume Database System are as fresh as possible, we require all resume members to update their online resume every 3 months. If you wish to retain your resume in the system, please update it frequently following the simple procedure below. Please note that failure to update will mean that your resume will be deactivated and later removed.

How Do I Update?
Log-in at http://www.tefl.com/career/resume.html and review your resume (making any amendments necessary) and update the resume data by pressing the [Save and continue] button at the bottom of any resume page. If you are currently seeking employment and therefore require your resume to be "active", check that the "active" indicator (top, left of all pages) is showing. If it shows "Inactive", please check through your resume to ensure that all "required" fields contain data. Specifically make sure that "Date available for employment" includes data. If you wish to retain your resume online but are not actively seeking employment at this time, simply click on the "Resume Index (quick) menu (at the top of all pages) and select "deactivate resume".

For your information, the following is the deactivation/removal sequence:

90 days after activation: Update resume e.mail reminder 1 is sent to you.
97 days: If your resume has not been updated, your resume will be auto-deactivated and you will be informed by e.mail.
187 days: If your deactivated resume has not been updated, e.mail reminder 2 is sent to you.
194 days: If your resume has not been updated, it is auto-removed from system and you will be informed by e.mail.

Once a resume is removed from our system it cannot be retrieved. The member may however register a new resume at http://www.tefl.com/career/register.html if required.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the member to ensure safe receipt of automated e.mail reminders from TEFL.com.

If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
