  First Degree
"While browsing through the FAQs section of your website and also some job opportunities posted on your website, I noticed that a " first degree " is often mentioned. Does it matter what field this degree is in or will any university degree be acceptable? The answer to this question has quite an impact on my plan since I'm assuming all I need at the moment to be qualified to teach English as a second language abroad is a TESOL certification course. "

TEACHER DEVELOPMENT DAY
Q.
I have been asked by my DOS to organise a Teacher Development Day for the rest of the teaching staff. Any ideas where to start?

A.
I would think the first best place to start is with the teachers and your DOS. Consult them on what they want and need and enlist their help in its provision by inviting them to share their strengths with the rest of the team.
