TEFL Courses - What's the Difference?
Q.
I am making an enquiry as to the differences between different TEFL courses and qualifications. For example, is an ITC TEFL accepted as widely as RSA or Trinity Certificates? Is studying such a course in Prague as good as studying in the UK and would such a course be accepted widely in various parts of the world?

A.
As far as we are aware, there are no government to government agreements on the relative acceptability of language teaching qualifications and there are many excellent courses offered worldwide, including by individual university language depts. which do not fall into the categories you mention. It is worth investigating all the options and choosing one which meets your particular needs, including that of what is being asked for by employers in your target employment situation/s.
