TEACHING KIDS.... EEEK!
"I have been teaching adults for three years now and the school where I am working is seeing a dramatic increase in the number of children enrolling for classes. This has meant that I have been asked to teach the bulk of my timetable to youngsters between 7 and 12 years of age.
I have absolutely no experience in teaching this age group and am at my wits end to know how to handle them, let alone teach them. Do you know of any shortcut to tooling me up quickly for this type of teaching?"

RESEARCH IDEAS ON THE NET...
| Q. I have just started the RSA Cambridge Diploma in London and would like to know of a site on the net I can contact for ideas regarding research and essays
A. There are online ESL journals such as American Language Review (http://www.alr.org). Others can be traced via the main search engines. Also you might like to join some of the many ESL mailists available. Not all of the content will be of interest to you but you might pick up useful leads and you can also use these as an avenue to obtaining answers to questions you might have. E-mail addresses of some of the lists are. NETEACH-L@raven.cc.ukans.edu, catesoljb@listproc.otan.dni.us, TEFLtsg@onelist.com, tefl-china@lists.yale.edu, eltasia-l@nectec.or.th
esl_forum@onelist.com, TESL-L@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU, KOTESOL-L@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM.
