CAN I TEACH IN LONDON?
Q.
I have a TEFL degree that I obtained at the American University of Beirut, TEFL. But, apparently, I cannot teach in schools without a PGCE, although I did my practice teaching at an American School. are there any places that I can apply to, in London for TEFL teachers?

A.
State schools in the UK normally require a PGCE but schools of English as a Foreign Language generally accept a TEFL qualification. For a list of approved schools in the UK you might like to contact: The British Council, 10 Spring Gardens, London SW1A , UK.
