LOOKING FOR WORK... WHERE TO START?
"I've just completed a CELTA course in Spain. I now find myself looking for teaching work in the UK and, more specifically, in the Worcestershire/ West Midlands area. I've had very limited success in my search for work thus far - my best prospects seem to be the summer schools coming up next year. Any advice/tips you could give me would be much appreciated!"

PART-TIME TEFL COURSE?
Q.
Could you tell me if it is possible to do a TEFL course part time in the evenings and how long this would take.

A.
Yes, it is possible to take a TEFL course part-time in the evenings as there are a variety of colleges and organisations that offer this option. It is a question of looking at what is available in your area. A Cert TEFL course is normally around 120 hours duration. Depending on the number of evenings involved, one can calculate the time period. Alternatively, you may wish to study by distance, via the Internet.
