I WANT TO TRAVEL... and teach!
"I have a degree and two years' experience as a Personal Assistant. I would like to travel and think that the easiest way would be to teach English while I am abroad. How do I get started?"

BREAK AWAY
| Q. I want to break away from the chalkface but still be able to utilise my tefl skills and knowledge. Any suggestions?
A. There are many areas you might consider. Essentially, as teachers, we are (normally) good people managers so anything along those lines, e.g. personnel management, particularly in an organisation where there is a mix of nationalities and cultures, may be the way to go. There are of course options closer to TEFL, e.g. course book writing, teacher training, test design etc. but these are, by necessity, still relatively close to that chalk face you want to say goodbye to.
