Is there seasonal demand for teachers?
"I am an English and Economics graduate and I'm close to starting a 4 week CELTA course in London. I am looking to teach in Vietnam but was wondering if there is a strong seasonal demand for English teachers? When would not be a good time to seek a job? "

MASTER'S DEGREE
Q.
I am currently a grad student at Purdue university and I am not sure what exactly I should be doing my master's degree in. I have ESL teaching experience and would like to continue doing something related in that field. I am actually looking for a degree that might increase my annual salary also. - J.S.

A.
If you are keen on conitnuing in the ESL field then I should think an MATESOL is the answer. Do, however, try to find a program that includes teaching practice. Masters are highly thought of within the profession but a lack of observed and assessed teaching practice often puts employers off.
