OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEACHER TRAINER?
| Q. I have City and Guilds cert 7306 Teacher Training in F.E and D32/33 Assessors awards. I am beginning Tefl in a few weeks time. Will these qualifications be enough for me to work both at home and abroad if required? Is there another qualification I should be aiming for? I do not have a degree.
A. In some countries your existing qualifications will be acceptable while others insist on a first degree, with or without a teaching qualification. It may be worthwhile investigating whether your present qualifications represent degree equivalents in other countries. Your local British Council office should be able to help you in this regard.
