I have a Bsc degree together with the appropriate formal qualifications for the property profession. I am however seriously considering a career change into Business English Teaching. My intention would be to take a TEFL/TESL/TESOL course, or possible an MA if appropriate. Can you please give me an indication of the long term prospects of this career path, as i would intend to continue for life. A. A preparatory course in teaching Business English is probably your best first step. You may later wish to go on to do an MA. Regarding career prospects, Business English is probably one of the most financially viable sectors of ELT but it also depends very on much on where you are and how you network.
