No degree but considering taking a course
Q.
Hi, I was a Teacher's Aide for 5 years here in the U.S. and I do not have a degree, but very interested in taking the TEFL course. Would my experience as a TA be considered if looking for employment in a different country, even though I do not have a degree?

A.
Your Teacher Aide experience should be taken into consideration as potentially useful, when applying for a teaching post. However, it may or may not be sufficient, in terms of required qualifications. In some countries it is impossible to teach without a first degree and many, but not all, employers prefer to employ graduates.
