Posts for Mature Teachers
"Friends, is there such a job ? Together, my wife & I are over 140 years old. We are retired school administrators & teachers & would be interested
in teaching or doing administrative work only during the warmer weather in Europe. Perhaps April through October for 6 or 7 months. In other parts of
the world the climate isn't so important.
We do not want to commit for more than 6 months at a time. Are jobs available for " seniors " like us with many, many years of experience in
most school subjects, especially the handicapped.

| Q. Enquiry:
I started out in EFl 30 years ago when I did a Languages degree then taught In Europe then did my Level 2 qualification before going on to teach and train teachers for 14 years.I accidentally left efl after some personal problems and have ended up working as a Manager in a completely different discipline. I deeply regret leaving Efl as it was always my first love .Can I return at my age 52?
A. Not only are there laws against age prejudice in many countries, good employers also recognise the value of qualifications, experience, and a level of maturity that someone your age could bring to a teaching post within their organisation.
